eeeee new home new paradise
Two weeks and what progress; Ken and I have made a very creative colaborative team and the house is looking beautiful. We still cannot get over the light that bathes us every day amongst jungle of plants we have surrounded ourselves with. Its warm enough in the afternoons to gasp OPEN the door let fresh air in; eat lunch on the deck. Fabulous.
Last weekend we decided to explore our new town; and its yet another paradise. Drove up to 4 mile trail and I finally touched the Weimenuche Wilderness boundary stunning country that I cannot wait to explore seriously this summer on horseback. Then Sunday hiked up to Chimney Rock; Ken made it to the top I don't want to kill myself. Chama got impaled by a bunch of cacti she looked pretty funny limping behind us saying with her eyes...eeelp meee!
Checked out the local shops in Pagosa found another more private hot springs place called The Overlook. They gave us some free passes since we are new woo hoo! Thats four free soak passes ahhh. Found the most friggin' amazing old timey malt shop with ridiculously delicious caramel malts. and a wonderful taqueria. Basically we just chilled and enjoyed the fruits of our labor for the past two weeks.
Granted my tummy has been achey and its harder to become comfortable in any position. Geeze at 20 weeks whats it going to be like at 30 and 40 weeks ahhh. But read that its the ligaments stretching to make room for my growing uterus at least I know but ouch. Kia is still kicking twisting turning and dancing up a storm in there. I love it. Its so amazing to watch my body ripen each day and Kia grows bigger and stronger. Crazy to think I am creating little bones, a little heart, lungs, eyes, fingers in there. What a miracle.
